I’m Emilie Aries, an absolute negotiation nerd. I started off my career by jumping at the first job offer that came my way - I didn’t even think to negotiate!
Ever since then, I’ve made mastering negotiation my obsession. And let me tell you - it’s paid off. I recently opted against working with an agent to sell my manuscript to a major global publisher and land a $45k advance for my first-ever book deal. I negotiate over $100k worth of public speaking fees on my own behalf each year, and last year I bought my second home (sans realtor!) and negotiated over $15,000 off asking in the very-hot market of Denver, CO.
I’ve been helping individuals maximize their compensation packages one-on-one for years and I’ve learned the art and science behind negotiating on your own behalf in a world that still makes that difficult for women in particular.
